Perfectly identical girls, dressed in military uniforms, work relentlessly. A matriarchal family. An oligarchic society. What would happen if we replaced bees with humans? Anna, a worker bee still in training, observes the universe of the hive she lives in. She strives to comprehend the rules of a tough and competitive society, to integrate and serve the ‘common good.’ However, unable to consent to the violence that surrounds her, she is condemned to utter loneliness and led to a radical decision.
